Who Is This Class For?
Is your dog is dragging you down the street and constantly straining at the end of the lead? This class is about teaching you and your dog a different perspective to walking on the lead. Please note this class is NOT about teaching your dog to heel. It is about teaching them to walk with you without pulling, but they may be in front, behind, or either side. The focus is the loose lead, not the position. The goal is to reduce the pulling, for a more peaceful walk.
What will you learn?
Learn how equipment can impact walking on the lead. Understand dog gaits, and why this is critical to loose-lead walking. What are the different “modes” of walking? How to get better control of your dog when off lead or eventually walking off lead.
